Highlights for April, 1986 e.v.

The Three Days of Liber AL

In keeping with our tradition here in the SF Bay Area, O.T.O. groups will share the reading of the three chapters of Liber AL vel Legis on the 8th, 9th and 10th of April. This year Ankh af na Khonsu Lodge will present the 1st chapter, the 2nd will be at the Corporate HQ of O.T.O. and the 3rd chapter will be at Thelema Lodge. Pot Lucks may be involved, so please call the phone numbers for details and reservation. More information in the Calendar.

Initiations this Month:

    Thelema Lodge will be doing IInd, IIIrd and IVth Degree initiations over April 11th through 13th. Call ... for details after April 5th. The exact dates and times of these initiations will be adjusted to accommodate arrivals from Oklahoma, Arizona, East Coast and California. The initiations will mostly be at Thelema Lodge Temple, with exception for the IVth Degree at a location private to the Degree.
    IInd Degree will be offered by Ankh af na Khonsu, according to their announcement, on 19th April.
    Minerval and Ist Degree applications are gladly received at a number of locations in the area, and may be made available in later April if requested.
    The general rule for application is 30 days in advance, but this can be relaxed in cases where time is short. Short time clearance with adequate need is available in routine cases at ... It is preferred that candidates apply through their local bodies 40 to 32 days ahead, to allow regular channels.

The Magick and Qabalah Classes

These are being offered by Bill Heidrick at Thelema Lodge twice a month. The series runs ten lecture meetings and one field trip. It is not necessary to attend any particular meeting or meetings to attend the others. Instructional materials are free. The field trip accompanying the "Natural Magick" class (#4) is to Mt. Tam in Marin County on 19th April. For that field trip only, meet at 5 Suffield Ave., San Anselmo, CA ... for departure at 10AM. The field trip takes from 6 to 8 hours and involves considerable walking on the trails. Wear walking clothing and shoes. We will need cars. These classes and most others are open to the general public, but you should always call the listed phone number on the calendar to attend any O.T.O. event.

Donations are always welcome at O.T.O. events.

O.T.O. and non-O.T.O. events and announcements are presented by Thelema Lodge in this monthly mailing as a free service to the Thelemic and Pagan community. For information, including inclusion of events, etc. and getting on the mailing list, please contact Thelema Lodge at the address ... or at ... Deadline for the May issue is April 15th. We are moving up the date of closure and mailing to get this information to you in a more timely manner.
